Corus CAD Patient Report

Clinicians ordering the Corus CAD test will receive a detailed patient report for each individual patient. The Corus CAD Patient Report is divided into four sections:

  • Patient Information
  • Test Results and Interpretation
  • Test Description
  • Comments

The Corus CAD Patient Report will provide the test result, which is a patient score ranging from 1 to 40. The patient score corresponds to the likelihood the patient has obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD)* or a blockage in the coronary arteries.1 The higher the Corus CAD patient score, the higher the likelihood of obstructive CAD. The lower the Corus CAD score, the lower the likelihood of obstructive CAD. For further information about the Corus CAD Patient Report, download the Corus CAD Understanding the Patient Report.

* Obstructive CAD is defined as at least one atherosclerotic plaque causing ≥50% luminal diameter stenosis in a major coronary artery (≥1.5 mm lumen diameter) as determined by invasive quantitative coronary angiography or coronary computed tomography angiography (≥2.0 mm lumen diameter).
